My love for jewelry began while traveling through India. It opened my eyes to colorful gemstones, rich textures, and a level of craftsmanship I had never truly noticed before.
After moving to New York, I found myself spending hours at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. I was drawn to ancient jewelry and artifacts—not because they were perfect, but because they revealed the hands behind their making. That experience inspired me to study jewelry making.
Nearly fifteen years later, I still create from my home studio in New Jersey, with production in New York City.
Hand carving is still my favorite part of the process. CAD is an important tool in my work, but I feel most connected to a piece when I'm carving it by hand. Watching an idea come to life never gets old. Seeing someone fall in love with it is even better.
